Course overview and specification

The course is divided into context-based units, which each focus on a key area of Chemistry. 

During the course students will study units entitled 'The Elements of Life', 'Elements from the Sea', 'Developing Fuels', 'The Ozone Story', 'Polymers and Life', 'The Chemical Industry', 'What’s in a Medicine', 'Oceans', 'Colour by Design' and 'Developing Metals'.
